Looking for jobs stinks. Especially when I don't know what exactly it is that I want to do with my life... I started thinking today about some of those odd/nasty job tv shows and started feeling a bit less forlorn because at least I'm not thaaat desperate.. yet! hahaha So I started looking up odd jobs online, juuuuust in case I might find something interesting. So far I've found a lot of "sniffing" jobs. For example, a "paper towel sniffer," who ensures that there is no odor before or after the towel is used. Or, a "dog sniffer" who tests the different effects of dog foods on dogs' breath. I've always though I had a pretty keen sense of smell, but I think I'll have to pass on these rather... interesting job opportunities. For now I'll stick to the more traditional job searches.

 Being asked for my address by a friend earlier today, made me realize that I still, at age 22, am thrilled by the idea of getting something cool in the mail.  Well, besides when I buy myself something online. That doesn't count because I have to pay for it. Think about it, how often do you get a note or card in the mail these days? We're all about facebook and emails now (not that I'm hatin on fb, I'm on it 24/7). Or even when you were a kid and you got the occasional birthday invitation. What an event! Thinking about this, plus realizing that I am terrible at sending thank you notes, I realized I desperately need some good stationery that I would like to use. That way, I will be more encouraged to send thank you notes, and other random notes to friends, just to say I was thinking about them. I'll spread joy, one note at a time... I can't be the only one who feels this way about getting mail from friends. Right?? haha maybe I'm just a dork... that's also very likely. Anyways, here's a few that I found. It's verrrry overwhelming looking at these websites. There's SO MANY to choose from.. I think I'll get some causal/fun ones for friends, and some serious formal ones for business thank you notes, etc.
